These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of My Education Link("MyEduLink", "we", "us", or "our"), including the myedulink.net website and platform. By creating an account or using MyEduLink, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

1. Eligibility & Account Roles

MyEduLink supports four account types: Student, Instructor, Parent, and Academy. Instructor and Academy accounts require the account holder to be at least 18 years old. Users under 18 may only register as a Student, and we recommend a Parent account be linked to supervise their activity. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and for keeping your login credentials confidential.

2. Courses, Bookings & Live Sessions

Instructors and Academies may publish courses and host live lecture sessions delivered through our third-party video providers (Zoom, Agora, and Twilio Video). Students and Parents are responsible for ensuring a suitable device, internet connection, and environment to attend live sessions. We do not guarantee that any specific Instructor, course, or session will be available at all times.

3. Payments, Subscriptions & Promo Codes

Paid courses and subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, PayPal. By making a purchase you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method. Promo codes are subject to their own stated discount, usage limits, and expiry date, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice. Prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout and may change; changes do not affect purchases already completed.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund eligibility depends on the course or subscription purchased and the amount of the service already delivered (e.g. lectures already attended). To request a refund or cancel a subscription, contact us at support@myedulink.net or manage your subscription from your account's Billing page. We reserve the right to decline refund requests that do not meet our refund criteria.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or that violates a third party's rights.
• Share your account credentials or allow another person to access the platform using your account.
• Attempt to circumvent payment for paid courses or subscriptions.
• Record, redistribute, or resell live sessions or course content without the Instructor's or Academy's consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation, including through malware, scraping, or unauthorized automated access.

6. Intellectual Property

Instructors and Academies retain ownership of the course content they create and upload. By publishing content on MyEduLink, they grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and stream that content to enrolled users for as long as it remains published on the platform. The MyEduLink name, logo, and platform software are our property or that of our licensors and may not be used without our prior written consent.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to other users, at our discretion and without prior notice in serious cases. You may close your account at any time from your account settings; certain records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

MyEduLink is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or outcomes of any course, Instructor, or Academy content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyEduLink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of MyEduLink will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app or email notification. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
