Homework
Tutors set homework on a lecture; every approved student submits and gets graded.
Homework belongs to a lecture and is available to every student approved on that lecture — there's no per-student assignment.
For tutors — creating homework
- Open the lecture and go to its Homework tab.
- Add a homework, then build it from one or more sections of questions.
- Mix question types: multiple choice, true/false, matching, short answer, essay, and file upload.
- Reuse questions with Import from bank, or save any question to the course's question bank for later.
- Set an optional due date, and choose auto-grading by default (each question can override it).
- Save — approved students on the lecture can now see and submit it.
For students — submitting
- Open the lecture's Homework tab, or the Homework page from the menu, to see everything assigned to you.
- Answer the questions and submit. File-upload answers must be a PDF of up to 5 MB.
- Auto-graded questions are scored instantly; the rest are marked by your tutor.
- Your status and grade appear on the Homework page once available.
Grading & parents
- Tutors open a homework's submissions to grade answers and leave a comment.
- Parents can follow their linked child's homework and grades from the Homework page.
